What is your Cultivating Change story? Why do you invest time into the Cultivating Change Foundation?

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to serve as the founder and president of the first student ambassador program (Students for Cultivating Change) of the Cultivating Change Foundation - at Penn State. Through starting this student organization, I learned about the Foundation because of its network at Penn State. I was very excited that such an organization existed, and glad to be able to partner with each other to help each other enact our respective missions.

Why should people invest in the future of the Cultivating Change Foundation?

I have seen tremendous growth in this organization even in just the three years that I have been involved. In those years, I have seen the Foundation increase its engagement with students at agricultural universities, which I see as a population which continues to need support. I am excited to see where the Cultivating Change Foundation continues heading.

What is your Cultivating Change story? Why do you invest time into the Cultivating Change Foundation?

As someone who grew up on a small farm in rural South Carolina and now works in agriculture, I think it is very important to give back and to make it easier for the next generation of leaders to come out and come forward.

Why should people invest in the future of the Cultivating Change Foundation?

If you believe in equality and investing in our future you should engage with Cultivating Change; for those in rural communities, especially, it can seem you are alone and without any resources. This group helps provide that connection and resources.
